Welcome to Lake Macquarie Sport Fencing

We are a club in the dynamic and exciting olympic sport of fencing. Senior coaches are Scott and John, with a great community of local and regional fencers and supporters. Beginners and experienced fencers welcome to join us.

We fence on Tuesday nights from 6pm to 8pm at Lake Macquarie PCYC, Windale. The PCYC is located opposite Windale/Gatehead Bowling Club and adjacent to Spotlight, Bennetts Green.

We provide basics to get new starters going, team sessions and coaching to develop skills and opportunties to participate in local and higher level competions. We teach foil and epee, with some sabre.

We run club and regional competitions, and we will again be hosting the Northern Regional Championships in August 2026 in Foil and Epee (sabre to be confirmed).

Lake Macquarie Sport Fencing Inc club is a member of the Northern Sport Fencing Association, NSW Fencing Association and Australian Fencing Federation.
